Ozell Divine, is named in honor of Gerise's grandmother. In 2020, during the challenges of the pandemic, she was unable to receive her chemotherapy treatments and passed away from a heart attack. In the midst of that painful time, Gerise discovered that her middle name, Ozell, means “divine strength.” That meaning became a guiding light for her and the foundation of her vision.
